Salvation Army
Bell Ringing
Each year on the second Saturday of December,
the Kiwanis Club of Grand Junction competes with
the Rotary Club of Grand Junction to ring the bells for the Salvation Army.
These funds raised by both clubs help The Salvation Army
provice services and programs thru the year.
In 2015 the Grand Junction Kiwanis Club was able to raise $14,713
in their 2 hours ringing for the Salvation Army. The Club involved
48 members and family members in the ringing as well as
members of the Action Club, Fruita Monument HS Key Club,
and the Golden K Club.
