Children’s Resources Directory
The Children’s Resources Directory has been published by Kiwanis every 1-2 years since 1991 as a service to the community. The directories are free and are available at many locations, electronically and in paper form. The directory is also published in Spanish. This resource is valued in the community that serves families and children. Read the testimonials below:
"The Kiwanis Club and Western Colorado 2-1-1 have partnered together to produce a comprehensive directory for resources and services serving children and families. The directory helps families navigate through available services, connecting families to much needed assistance. Kiwanis and 2-1-1 are giving families the most relevant information possible."
Western Colorado 2-1-1 Director
“We share the Kiwanis Children’s Resource Directory all the time. The families we support in our programs really appreciate having all the information in one place, and our staff members use it, too. Having the directory available in Spanish is especially helpful; because families can look for the information they need without having to find someone to translate it for them.”
Sarah Johnson, MSW
Director of Child and Family Programs
The directory is distributed by Kiwanis members to all preschools, elementary schools, libraries, healthcare providers, family and parenting services, and places accessible
to the public. Additional printed copies are available at 2-1-1 offices at 29 ½ Road
or by contacting any Kiwanis member.
